Could this couple get any more gorgeous??! We were so excited to photograph Kristin and Bryan’s wedding in South Florida in an ultra-modern, fabulous hotel right on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. The views were amazing and Kristin and Bryan were such a blast! Gregg and I knew them from Atlanta, and were more than pleased to go to South Florida to capture their big day!

With the feeling of the chic Hotel B Ocean, Kristin and Bryan’s wedding aesthetic was amazing! It was modern, crisp and light, just like the couple. Surrounded by close family and friends, you could just feel their love in the air and how much everyone around them loved and supported them. The reception was such an amazing party too. The music was amazing and everyone danced all night! Congratulations Kristin and Bryan and thank you so much for having us on your big day!

We had such a great time with Amy and Jason on their engagement shoot, so we were so excited for wedding day to come! It was such a great day and Emory Conference Center was a fabulous place to host the event. Amy was so sweet as she was getting ready and it was so nice catching up about everything weddings. (I also loved that her future sister-in-law was a softball player at FSU!) Jason was as cool as a cucumber and hanging with the guys. Gregg and I were excited to work with one of our favorite planners, Lisa Milko and her team from Event Perfect! They were on point as always, and we just loved the pops of color they incorporated.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is the chance to meet so many fabulous people. For example, Bridget and Braden. They are not only an amazing, loving couple, they are a blast to be around and have a great attitude. (Something the camera loves!) We met Bridget and Braden at the Atlanta Bridal Extravganza, then photographed an awesome engagement session and even had a chance to take photos of thier sweet puppy Shenanigans! When their wedding rolled around, We felt like we were just having a nice day with great friends! It was such a blast and all the details they incorporated were so special. Each centerpiece at the reception had a special meaning to them and truly represented them as a couple. Did I mention how I love details??

Shannon and Alex are awesome. By awesome I mean, in the first 5 minutes of their engagement session, Gregg and Alex were talking sports and Shannon and I were gossiping about wedding colors. They are truly a match made in Heaven! When Shannon mentioned wanting to do an engagement shoot that reflected their new lives together in Texas (they’re moving there after the wedding in March), Chastain Horse Park was the obvious choice. Shannon grew up riding horses and it seems like a great place to get some amazing photos. Shannon and Alex were so much fun to photograph, but I think the stars of the show were to beautiful horses at the park! We got to pet them and they always managed to pop into the photos at the right time! It didn’t hurt that the light was perfection, also!

We are so excited for Shannon & Alex’s Military wedding this spring at Lake Lanier. If the engagement session was a preview, we are going to have a blast! Enjoy the photos!

 One super early Saturday morning, Gregg and I met Kristen and her fiancé Stephen in the Virginia Highlands for an awesome engagement shoot! It was a perfect day and even better couple:-) We originally met Kristen at the Bridal Extravaganza of Atlanta and hit it off immediately! When it came time to plan the wedding, we were so excited Kristen wanted to meet with us and enjoy some margaritas. We loved hearing about how excited they were to have their wedding at the Roswell Mill Club and how much support Kristen had from her wonderful family. We couldn’t have been happier with the engagement session and are so excited for their nuptials next year! Enjoy the preview!

Sweet Southern love is one of a kind. Especially when it started in High School! I love hearing stories of high school sweethearts, and I love photographing thier weddings even more. Heather and Skylar were just that, High School sweethearts. When we got the call from Heather about her traditional Southern wedding in South Georgia, we were so excited. Heather and I instantly bonded over our love for dogs and helping local rescues, and we were so happy to capture the surprise of her sweet Schnauzer’s surprise appearance at the wedding! Grailey (the dog) came out onto the dance floor in a puppy sized wedding dress! Needless to say, everyone was so excited and I was swooning over the sweet puppy moment! It was the best!

From the tent over looking the lake, to the hunting lodge, to the shrimp and grits bar to the puffy white cotton fields, Heather and Skylar’s wedding was a southern dream! Thanks for having us there to capture your amazing day! Enjoy the photos!

Helicopter pad? Check. Atlanta skyline? Check. Amazing couple? Double check! This is Katie and Jon’s fabulous wedding! When we met Katie and John at the their engagement session last fall, we knew we were in for a treat! They were fun, happy and so in love! Not to mention, completely photogenic!

When it came time for wedding day, Katie and John pulled out all of the stops. From the nuptials surrounded by windows of the city skyline, to the band brought in from Tallahassee, Florida, it was quite the affair. My favorite part was the pop of color by the bright yellow flowers throughout the venue. Floral Matters did a fantastic job! John’s daughters carried yellow pomanders that I just fell in love with. We can’t thank the fabulous team at Wedding Soiree for helping us make the evening amazing for Katie and John!

Katie and John, you guys are the best and we have nothing but the very best wishes for you! We hope you love the photos as much as we do!

We HAD to have all three of these shots. The first ring is Katie’s engagement ring (when he REALLY loved her), the second is the ring he gave her when he really liked her and the third is the ring is the very first ring John ever gave to Katie.

She wore all three all night!

Weddings like Sam & Chad’s remind me of why I started photographing weddings with Gregg. I hardly stopped once the entire night and didn’t mind it one bit. And I was dancing, on the dance floor, with my camera around my neck. That’s a sign it was a great wedding! Their wedding was so fabulous because Sam and Chad as a couple are dynamite. They are fun, sweet, relaxed and so trustworthy of our eye for photos. It meant so much when I would ask Sam for these weird photo requests and she said, “I trust you.”

Sam and Chad’s wedding was at the amazing Atlanta History Center and we were able to take a few photos in front of the Swan House. It is a very historic building with gorgeous surrounding gardens. It felt like we were roaming through the hills of Europe and came across a castle. It was so cool! Needless to say, the photos taken in front of the Swan House made my heart melt and again, made me love my job.

As photographers, we never know when our next amazing couple will be right around the corner. Amy and Jason were introduced to Gregg and I by Lisa of EventPerfect. We had worked with Lisa on Margi & Wes’ Wedding and had an amazing time. She felt that Gregg and I would be a good fit for this sweet couple and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Amy and Jason were just as wonderful in person as they were on the phone. Amy, a fellow FSU Seminole, and I hit it off right away. We had a great early morning session full of sunshine and and fantastic light. We love shooting in Downtown Decatur and got to know each other. We can’t wait for their October nuptials at Emory and hope you enjoy their engagement blog!

A cute couple, wild flowers and the same wedding date as Gregg and I! A match made in Heaven! This amazing couple is Tricia and Daniel. Tricia and I were in a boot camp class together (and by ‘in’ I mean Tricia was a superstar and I could barely keep up!) and got along great. When it came time  to do engagment photos, we immediatly thought of Serenbe. It is a magical little town outside of Atlanta that is quaint, quiet and peaceful. The perfect place for a Sunday engagement session!
